Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tablespoons)
  • Juice of 1/2 orange (about 1 tablespoon)
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely diced (optional for heat)
  • ½ small red onion, finely diced
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin
  • ¼ cup diced tomato

Instructions

Ingredients

  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium mixing bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocados to your desired consistency—chunky or smooth.
  • Squeeze in the lime and orange juices immediately to preserve the vibrant green color. Stir in the salt, cumin, and garlic for a flavorful base.
  • Gently fold in the chopped cilantro, mint, and parsley. The herbs should remain fresh and vibrant, so avoid overmixing.
  • Stir in the red onion, jalapeño, and diced tomato for added crunch, spice, and brightness.
  • Give the guacamole a taste test and adjust the salt or lime juice to suit your preference.
  • Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl, garnish with a sprig of fresh mint or parsley for a pop of color, and serve with tortilla chips, pita bread, or fresh veggies.
